- Passing the following information along from ODOT/DMV:
DMV will no longer print paper copies of the Possessory Lien Packet, form 6828.
There are a limited number of packages available at this time (25 lien packets per package).

It is highly recommended that tow companies review their lien procedures to ensure compliance with ORS Chapter 87 (available on the Board’s website) and the lien document requirements. The Board has received complaints regarding the erroneous use, or intentional misuse, of lien documents as a business practice, and will be working with other agencies in addressing the issues in 2024. - The Board is hosting a Work Session on January 11, 2024 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at DMV HQ.
The purpose of the Work Session is to establish process and procedures for complaints submitted to the Board.
The Public is invited to attend.

Work Session materials will be available on the Board’s website by end of day Monday, January 8. 2024.
