The Oregon State Board of Towing is proud to announce the Case Management System is implemented!
- Board staff will enter complaints filed in 2024 into the CMS.
- Complainants will be contacted as their complaints are entered with more information.
- Complaints meeting the Board’s complaint criteria will be forwarded for investigation. Towers will be contacted as part of the investigation.
- Both the complainant and the tower will be contacted after Board review of the complaint and investigation report.
- The Board’s website will be updated with new instructions on filing a complaint by the New Year.
- Until then, complaint information can be sent via email to: compliance@towboard.oregon.gov
January 14, 2025 Public Board Meeting
- The Board is hosting a public meeting January 14, 2025 to:
- Conduct its regular business.
- Discuss towing rates, fees, and invoicing practices as identified in the 2025 Strategic Plan.
- Review complaints and investigations to determine appropriate board action.
- SPACE IS LIMITED – RSVPs are required for in-person attendance.
- Meeting materials will be posted on the Board’s website no later than 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2025.
Oregon State Board of Towing Public Policy and Rules Advisory Group
- The advisory group is one method the Board uses to solicit input and feedback in drafting public policies and administrative rules.
- To be a part of the ongoing conversations:

- Anyone with an interest in the Board’s public policy, administrative rules, or mission statement is welcome to be a part of the advisory group.
Holiday Office Closures:
The Board’s office will be closed to the public:
- December 25, 2024 in observance of Christmas
- January 1 in observance of New Years
- Staff availability may be limited between December 24 and January 2 to accommodate field work, projects, and holiday closures.
