SALEM — Oregon DMV\u2019s computer system will be unavailable later today through the Fourth of July weekend for an upgrade that will\u00a0impact\u00a0DMV2U<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0DMV Express Kiosks<\/a>.\u00a0All DMV services will return to normal\u00a0at start of business\u00a0Monday, July 6

Timeline and impacts<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0
– DMV2U will be unavailable starting at 4 p.m.\u00a0today.
– DMV Express Kiosks will be unavailable starting at 8 p.m. today.
– All\u00a0DMV offices<\/a>\u00a0will be closed tomorrow in observance of the holiday.
– DEQ clean air stations<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0DEQ Too<\/a>\u00a0locations will continue to conduct testing and provide emissions certificates tomorrow, but customers will not be able to renew their registration or tags until DMV\u2019s system is back online Monday, July 6. Customers can then renew their registration and tags online at DMV2U or at a DMV Express Kiosk.

The system upgrade will keep DMV\u2019s license issuance and vehicle registration system software current, ensuring we can integrate with partner systems and making it easier to adopt future updates to better serve our customers.
