The additional motorcycle rider education course will provide another option to obtain a motorcycle endorsement while the applicant is temporarily residing outside of this state, but domiciled in or a resident of this state.<br><strong>Rule to be amended:<\/strong>&nbsp;735-062-0078<br><strong>Last day for public comment:<\/strong>&nbsp;March 21, 2026&nbsp; 5:00 PM<br><strong>Anticipated date of OTC Approval:&nbsp;<\/strong>May 7, 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oregon.gov\/odot\/Get-Involved\/OAR%20folders\/2025-NOPR\/735-152-0007_Fire%20Inspection%20Report_NOPR_NoticeFilingTrackedChanges.pdf\">Vehicle Dismantler Submission of Fire Inspection Reports\u200b<\/a><\/strong><br>The&nbsp;enactment of HB 2706, effective January 1, 2026, increased the validity period for dismantler certificates to two years.
