  1. Passing the following information along from ODOT\/DMV:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    DMV will no longer print paper copies of the Possessory Lien Packet, form 6828.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    There are a limited number of packages available at this time (25 lien packets per package).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    All possessory lien documents can be found online here: https:\/\/www.oregon.gov\/odot\/DMV\/Pages\/Form\/index.aspx<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It is highly recommended that tow companies review their lien procedures to ensure compliance with ORS Chapter 87 (available on the Board\u2019s website) and the lien document requirements. The Board has received complaints regarding the erroneous use, or intentional misuse, of lien documents as a business practice, and will be working with other agencies in addressing the issues in 2024.  Questions about possessory liens or forms?  Contact DMV by visiting your local field office or by phone at (503) 945-5000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. The Board is hosting a Work Session on January 11, 2024 from 1:00 \u2013 3:00 p.m. at DMV HQ.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      The purpose of the Work Session is to establish process and procedures for complaints submitted to the Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The Public is invited to attend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Attached the Public Notice which includes information on how to attend the Work Session online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Work Session materials will be available on the Board\u2019s website by end of day Monday, January 8. 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Space is limited \u2013 please RSVP in-person attendance to info@towboard.oregon.gov<\/a> by January 8, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
