Advisory committees to discuss toll program development during upcoming meetings

Portland \u2013 Two committees advising on tolling in the Portland metropolitan area will hold meetings in October. Equity and Mobility Advisory Committee (EMAC):<\/strong> Wednesday, October 4, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. In-person participants will meet at EcoTrust, 721 NW 9th Avenue, in the Billy Frank Conference Room. Participants can join via Zoom webinar<\/a> or by phone at 360-209-5623 (local) or 877-853-5257 (toll free). Participants can also watch the YouTube livestream<\/a>. At the EMAC meeting, time will be reserved for both online and in-person participants to provide verbal comments during the meeting for up to two minutes per speaker. EMAC meeting materials can be found on the project website.<\/a>

Statewide Toll Rulemaking Advisory Committee (STRAC):<\/strong> Friday, October 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Participants can watch the YouTube livestream.<\/a> STRAC meeting materials will be posted one week in advance on the project website.<\/a>

Anyone can observe the meetings and share comments via email, phone or online:<\/strong> Email comments on specific EMAC agenda items to oregontolling@odot.oregon.gov<\/a> with \u201cEMAC Public Comment\u201d in the subject line. For STRAC comments, please email oregontollrules@odot.oregon.gov<\/a> with \u201cSTRAC Public Comment\u201d in the subject line. Submit comments via phone: 503-837-3536. Comments received by 11:00 a.m. two business days before the meeting <\/strong>will be shared with advisory committee members before the meeting. All comments will be added to the meeting record.
