Oregon Transportation Commission to meet Jan. 12 in Salem

SALEM — The Oregon Transportation Commission will meet Thursday, Jan. 12 at 9 a.m. in the Gail Achterman Conference Room of the Transportation Building, 355 Capitol St NE, Salem. An online option for viewing will also be available.

Items on the agenda include:
Community Workforce Agreements Rule: Approve the rule for the Community Workforce Agreement pilot program.
Oregon Highway Plan Tolling Amendment: Request approval to adopt the Oregon Highway Plan Amendment for Tolling and Findings of Compliance with Statewide Planning Goals.
Toll Rulemaking and Rate Setting Process Update: An update on the statewide toll rulemaking and rate setting process, including the work of the Statewide Toll Rulemaking Advisory Committee.
Electric Vehicle Discussion: An update on ODOT’s approach to transportation electrification and key partnerships.
Interstate Bridge Replacement Project Update: An update on the Interstate Bridge Replacement program activities and an overview of the process to develop the cost estimate, financial plan, and economic impact analysis.

How to provide public commentMembers of the public are asked to submit written comments in advance of the Jan. 12 meeting and sign up for real-time virtual oral public comment. Sign up to provide comments by completing the comment form on our website at www.oregon.gov/odot/Get-involved/Pages/OTC_Main.aspx. Please sign up by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11. 

Please note participation will be limited to one representative per organization. Commenters (and organizations) who are providing oral testimony to the OTC for the first time will be given priority for the limited available testimony spots. To submit written testimony or comments electronically, please use the submission form on the OTC website by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11, to guarantee inclusion in the meeting packet. Comments not included in the meeting packet will be shared with Commissioners after the meeting.
